Discarded: A Trashion Show

Updated: Aug 5, 2019

When: Saturday July 27, 2019. Location: Westclox Atrium. What: A whole lotta creativity and awesomeness.

North Central Illinois ARTworks hosted it's first ever Discarded: a trashion show. I really pushed my creative boundaries, and was a designer for the show. Josh worked his magic behind the camera.

It's a wedding dress. Made from trashy romance novels.

The premise was to create artistic fashion out of items that are typically thrown away, or are considered trash. (I did a little play with that theme with my trashy romance novel wedding dress!)

Fluttery angel wings, from plastic grocery bags.

Eight artists really brought it. Every single piece was completely amazing!
