Urban Viking

He stands amongst the smoking rubble, victorious. His conquest of the vast urban desert will be lauded upon the return to his homestead. There is still a rumble deep in the belly of the brick and glass structures behind him, but it is just the sound of defeat and demise of a time that once was......

For within this man is the soul of a viking. A Norse god comes out to play and who can deny the veracity of such a being?

Christopher's wife contacted me for a surprise Viking session for his birthday. It's been a tough year for us all, and he was feeling it pretty hard. I'm pretty sure spending the morning being treated as a god amongst men perked up his spirit.
